September 15, 2010: New Feature: Market Notifications

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

The Undermine Journal's New Feature: Market Notifications

The Undermine, Kezan - September 15, 2010 - Goblins of Azeroth across many markets now have a new utility to help monitor the Auction House marketplace.

The Undermine Journal has released a Market Notifications tool that can alert its readers about market conditions within minutes of their occurrence. Users can be notified via email or using any RSS reader when a given quantity of item is available at a given price.

The Market Notifications tool is the first to use The Undermine Journal's new User Controls system. This system allows readers access to utilities that provide for their own specific needs. Users can login quickly, from a link in the top corner of the page, using accounts from other established communities.

The entire staff at The Undermine Journal are excited about the Market Notifications tool and future tools that cater to individual readers. "The Market Notifications tool is just the first major piece in what our User Controls will become," reports the editor of the publication.

The Undermine Journal is a goblin-produced publication that reports Auction House news for over 150 markets. Readers find it at theunderminejournal.com. The first issues were published in June, 2010.

Love the new feature and think it will be very valuable for me. You should have my recent donation! :)

The one thing that is a little confusing to me is notification setup.

If I tell it to notify me when the "cheapest cost for 20 frozen orbs is less than 15 gold", is that 15 gold per item or 15 gold for all 20 items.

Thanks again for a great service! Auctioneering has rekindled my love for WoW these last few months...

Good question. In your example, it's 15g for all 20 items. I'll see if I can make it more clear on that part of the page.

Still waiting 2.5 hours for the verification code. I can't see a resend button. Love the site, good work ;)

Loving the new features! One thing though:

When I set a notification to trigger when available buyout quantity is greater then 0 (so I get notified when one enters the AH), the notification gets changed to when buyout quantity is greater then 1. I'd like to get notified when one enters the market, not when there is two >_<

Thanks again for working so hard on this. It's AWESOME!
